THE Ceramic City Choir performs a mixed programme of Finzi, Vaughn Williams and Mendelssohn, as well as works by Elgar, Stanford and Parry, at St George's Church, Newcastle, tomorrow at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10, £5 under-16s, and are available on the door.
Next weekend Audley Male Voice Choir presents its annual celebrity concert at the Victoria Hall. The event, on Sunday, March 21, features Welsh soprano Camilla Roberts and South Korean tenor Ji-Min Park. It starts at 7.30pm.

Chinese pianist and gold medallist at the 2007 World Piano Competition, Ching-Yun Hu, will be performing at the Forum Theatre in Hanley on Thursday, March 25, as part of the Harding Trust Piano Recital Series. It starts at 8pm and tickets cost £19. Call 01782 206000.
Finally, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic perform at the Victoria Hall on Friday, March 19, at 8pm. Part of the Stoke-on-Trent Festival's 40th anniversary, the concert will feature Jean Yves Thibaudet in a performance of Grieg's Piano Concerto, as well as Beethoven's Overture: Coriolan and Elgar's Enigma Variations.
