THE lunchtime concerts at St Paul's Church, Newcastle, continue this Tuesday with a performance by Keele University finalists at 12.30pm. Admission is free, retiring donation welcome.

Staying with Keele, vibrant ensemble Joglaresa bring ancient and traditional music to the University on Wednesday night as part of Concerts At Keele's 39th anniversary.

The Eblana String Trio and oboist David Benfield continue the series the following Wednesday, February 17, before a performance by violinist Leland Chen and pianist John Lenehan on Wednesday, February 24. All concerts start at 7.30pm in the Westminster Theatre. Tickets for each cost £12 and £6. Call 01782 734169.

Manchester Camerata will be serenading classical fans at the Stafford Gatehouse on Wednesday, February 17, with a romantic programme of Schubert, Elgar and Tchaikovsky. It starts at 7.30pm with a pre-concert talk at 6.30pm. Call 01785 254653.

On Saturday, February 20, talented Russian violinist Alina Ibragimova and pianist Cedric Tiberghien will be performing three of Beethoven's violin sonatas at Abbotsholme School. Tickets for the concert, presented by Abbotsholme Arts Society, cost £15 adults and £5 for under-26s. It starts at 7.30pm. Call 01543 263304.
