Tory hunting policy is a vote loser
KEEP THE BAN: Rather than change the ban on hunting as suggested by the Conservative party, I agree with Mr B Byrne in his letter in The Sentinel,
January 13. The ban should be rigorously enforced.
I urge all people who care about the welfare of animals to contact their Conservative MP to ask them to keep the ban in place. It will lose them votes – it has lost them mine.

“One can only assume that Labour are scraping the bottom of the politcal barrel if they are resorting to this arguement.”

“Anyone who eats meat should shut the heck up about fox hunting. If you then say that killing animals in an abattoir is humane than I challenge anyone who objects to fox hunting to kill animals in an abattoir for a week. Until then go back to sleep.”

“Well they haven't lost my vote, but then they didn't have it to lose. Why anyone would vote Tory on the basis they want to go back to chasing foxes across fields for the 'enjoyment' of a few toffs is completely beyond me. Britain became a better country when the hunting ban came in, to bring it all back now would be idiotic.”
