“I'm not surprised, putting computer games into hospitals. When I was in hospital as a lad, they had stickle bricks and spinning tops.”

“I have a Sinclair zx spectrum and some games on tape. I'll be taking them down for the kiddies first thing in the morning.”

“Thomasthedog is right. A feel of the birch is in order, but the bleeding hearts won't allow it.
I hope no Stokie did this. There are plenty of outsiders capable of behaving like animals.
And Reaper, let the waccy baccy wear off before you post again. No-one is amused, and you are showing yourself to be a fool. You are depriving some village of its idiot. Kids don't go to Hospital for fun; they deserve their recreation rooms and toys.”

“Hmmmmm the reaper, you seem to not want the police involved in this vile crime against sick children, perhaps you either ARE the perpetrator or you know who is and that is why you are laughing at the fact that childrens decorations have been destroyed and their games etc have been stolen. Did you not have a very happy childhood yourself or are you the true descendent of Mr Scrooge. Either way you are a vile person even if you proport to just be winding people up.”

“I've just read in the Mail Online that a similar incident has happened at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. I bet there are more of these to come.”

“Home made decorations are more valueable than shop brought ones. What sort of person are you "The Reaper"? Seems to me that you're enjoying this. Have you got something to do with it?”

“Childrens ward, guess there are no doors to lock for security, & security, have you ever had to face ther arm of the car parking guys, well they are also the heavy mop of the security, enough said,”

“At the end of the day it is still only a few bits of toys and its only from a hospital, whether it be for children or oap's, makes no difference.
And yes I am well aware that the police could deal with more than one crime at once, its just a pity they dont. If you suffer a break in at home you are just as likely to be given a crime number for your insurance rather than a copper actually visit.
They are too busy these days nicking kids on bikes for riding on the pavement or pulling over motorists.
And the place was hardly "wrecked" more like a few home made decorations ripped down. Value = £0.”

“by melpowell 1983 - that was my first concern too! Unfortunately, this is poor journalism as we aren't told whether the play room was broken into or whether the scumbags gained access from an unlocked door. Is there someone who has responsibility for this area? Either way, the goods were stolen overnight, so there really is no need for a playroom to be open at that time of night.”
