A TEENAGER has been fined for being drunk and disorderly in Hanley city centre.

Mr Bodger said: "The defendant appeared to be drunk inside the venue and was banging into people. People were complaining about him and he was guided to the main entrance." Williams, of High Street, Harriseahead, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.

Mark Harrison, mitigating, said Williams accepts his behaviour was not appropriate.

Magistrates fined Williams £60 and ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
