Teen fined for swinging punches on night out
A TEENAGER has been fined for being drunk and disorderly in Hanley city centre.
Daniel Williams, aged 18, was ejected from Chicago Rock on Friday, December 7, North Staffordshire magistrates heard yesterday.
Prosecutor Andrew Bodger said Williams was escorted out the nightspot at 11.25pm.
However, he then spun around and verbally abused a door supervisor before swinging punches which did not connect.

"He was restrained until police arrived.
Mr Bodger said: "The defendant appeared to be drunk inside the venue and was banging into people. People were complaining about him and he was guided to the main entrance." Williams, of High Street, Harriseahead, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
Mark Harrison, mitigating, said Williams accepts his behaviour was not appropriate.
Magistrates fined Williams £60 and ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
