Teen is facing crown court
A TEENAGER will appear before the crown court in relation to a dangerous driving offence in which a man was injured.
Matthew Milward, of Meadow Close, Forsbrook, is accused of driving dangerously in Bucknall New Road, Hanley on January 4.
The 18-year-old is also alleged to have failed to stop after an accident in which injury was caused to Alexander Thompkinson, and failing to report an accident.
There has been indication of a not guilty plea. North Staffordshire magistrates earlier declined jurisdiction, and Milward was bailed to appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court for a plea and directions hearing on April 7.
