RACE DAY: Teams were due to compete in a pancake race today.

The annual event was taking place in Stafford's Market Square this morning from 11am.

Teams of four people were taking part in the relay race and competing for the title of Best Flipper in Town.

Stafford Borough Council's leisure services team has organised the free event, which was expected to see several teams compete including Co-op Heart Angels, SOS United, The Starbucks Flippers and Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
