Dom Joly And The Black Island C4, 7.30pm

AS A boy, Dom Joly dreamt of becoming Tintin. And here he fulfils his fantasy to become the world-famous Belgian reporter, attempting to retrace the steps of Tintin's British adventure, The Black Island. Joly dons his hero's costume – shorts, plus fours, white shirt, and blue jersey – and even dyes his hair ginger. He goes to Brussels to see where Hergé drew the character. He also goes in search of a Snowy the Dog and visits a seaman's bar in an attempt to find a Captain Haddock look-alike.
