PARADISE: Hamilton Island in Qeensland.
In the depths of credit crunch January, the campaign, unsurprisingly, caught the world's imagination as 35,000 people applied from across the globe, submitting variously funny and original one minute videos highlighting their talents.
I considered going for it but in the end my head was turned by the alternative offer of a street-cleaning job in Lytham St Annes.
This programme follows the story through the eyes of the four British candidates who made it through to the final 50.
The emotional highs and lows of the young men and women are revealed as they pitch for the job using any means necessary. How can they beat their rivals to it? And is Vim and a mop really the correct equipment for cleaning coral?
The film stays with the four as they find out their fate. Will they make it to the final round? Will they get their shot at paradise? And can they contend with the attentions of the world's media as the effects of this quirky job ad go global.
