Maestro At The Opera BBC2, 9pm
IT'S week two on Maestro At The Opera and the three remaining would-be conductors continue their attempts to master the ultimate art form – opera.
The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden once again opens its doors as the trio conduct a whole act from a legendary work in front of a discerning audience of more than 2,000.
To succeed they must learn to cope with star singers, props, a set, and a 24-strong chorus. To top it all, they're now down in the orchestra pit conducting one of the world's greatest professional orchestras.
