CREATIVE, construction and eco businesses are being urged to find out more about an expanding business support network.

Build Up North Staffordshire – which is backed by the North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce and Stoke-on-Trent City Council – is launching a new online support service.

The network will have three sections – Work Box for construction firms, Eco Net for low carbon businesses and Great Minds for the creative sector.

Build Up managers aim to sign up 2,000 companies and help them generate £10 million of business.

The online support service is being launched at the Britannia Stadium on Thursday, October 22 between 8.30am and 12.30pm and anyone interested is invited to attend.

Project manager Nigel Barrett said: "Build Up North Staffordshire has a proven track record of supporting local businesses.

"We would urge people to come to the launch to find out more about this exciting new addition to an already successful project."
