Duties will include shelf-stacking and helping out with online orders and customer service.
Students have landed the placements through the Dane Bank Avenue college's new 'Ready to Work' scheme.
Anne Timmis, head of curriculum for the college's programme, said: "If students impress, it could lead to permanent employment in the future."
Wendy Bartley, store trainer at Nantwich Sainsbury's, said: "We are very pleased to take on students and support them as they learn new skills."
The Entry Level programme is for students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
Anyone who would like more information, or employers interested in taking on students, should call Carol Thelwall on 07947 153209.
