Douglas Macmillan Hospice celebrates its 40th anniversary with specialist Moorcroft pottery
Douglas Macmillan Hospice has teamed up with pottery specialist Moorcroft, to release a limited edition two-piece set to commemorate their 40th anniversary.
'Sunburst'; a Sunflower vase and lidded box, is the ideal way for local people of North Staffordshire to support Dougie Mac's Ruby birthday, which falls on Valentine's Day.
Burslem-based Moorcroft also celebrates its centenary on 23rd April.
The Sunburst vase is a limited supply of 100 priced at £550 per piece, whilst the Sunburst lidded box is designed as a numbered edition, each priced at £265.

Both were designed by Vicky Lovatt, and feature the floral emblem of the hospice, with flowers surging towards the heavens just as a human would to a sun-filled sky above.
All of the retail profit on every piece comes directly to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
Liz Clarke, Head of Fundraising said,
"By purchasing one or both of the beautiful Sunburst pieces of pottery, our supporters are helping the hospice celebrates its 40th anniversary in style.
"We expect Sunburst to be one of the most sought after new designs of pottery this spring. The vase and lidded box are limited to 100, and will be available on a first come first served basis."
Elise Adams, Managing Director of Moorcroft commented,
"With pride, and considerable happiness, Moorcroft has used the floral emblem of the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, the sunflower, to create Sunburst, to raise funds for this local charity that has touched the lives of many of the family and friends of those working at Moorcroft today."
