Student help out in Africa
HIGH school pupils have been doing their bit to help disabled children in Africa get an education.
Students from Wolstanton High School have been raising money for the School 4 All in Africa project.
The scheme is run by a partnership between the Rotary International and charity, Leonard Cheshire Disability.
Money raised is used to help educate Africa's disabled children who are excluded from school.
Roger Whittaker, senior vice-president of the Rotary Club in Stoke-on-Trent, said: "These funds will help the disabled children and I thank the school and pupils for the remarkable effort. If children do not go to school their future is bleak as disability in Africa is a taboo subject."
