GET RID: So Coronation Street are going ahead with their tram crash horror story to "celebrate" 50 years of the show in December. My contenders for the residents to be crushed under the tram's wheels are: Whiny Graham Proctor and girlfriend Tina – wet wet wet; David Platt – the rat boy; Mad Mary; Dodo Dev Alahan; the whole Webster clan; all of the factory girls, including Sean. Along with wet Nicky Tilsley, the Windasses – and last but not least, Peter Barlow, the boozing bookie. Then they should bring back the likes of Mavis Wilton, Eddie Yeats, Hilda Ogden and Reg Holdsworth!
