Stoke's Top Talent: Heat 2 performances
1) LEANNE WALKER
Leanne, aged 14, a Wilkes Academy student of Whitfield Avenue, Westlands, sang Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing. She said: "My rehearsal was spot on so my plan was just to go ahead and not change anything.
"It means a lot to me to get through because I've always wanted to do singing on stage."

Harley Spann and Lewis Bagguley, both aged eight, of Talke, make up NRG. Harley said: "We were nervous but confident and we gave it our best go. It's great fun and we wore suits like Robbie Williams in the Let Me Entertain You video. It's the best moment of our lives to get through to the final. Lewis said: "It's amazing. I'm loving every minute of it."
3) LINDSAY KEARNS
Fifteen-year-old Lindsay, originally of Fenton but now based in Chester, sang the Glee classic Don't Rain on My Parade. She said: "I've done shows before and felt OK, but this was a bit different when you know you're going to be judged. I was happy with how it went."
4) NORMAN TUDOR
Singer Norman, aged 73, of Draycott Drive, Cheadle, sang Phantom of the Opera classic Music of the Night. He said: "I had the shakes a bit before going out on to the stage, but you soon get into it. I've been performing all my life and it's a passion."
5) GEORGIA STANWAY
Singer-songwriter and guitarist Georgia, aged 17, of Corporation Street, Stafford, sang a Corinne Bailey-Rae cover, Just Like a Star. She said: "I was very confident because I've done a lot of gigs before, but there's still nothing that can prepare you for that last moment before you go on stage."
6) GARETH RIDGE
Twenty-six-year-old Gareth of Tunnicliffe Close, Longton, sang Queen's Too Much Love Will Kill You. He said: "I'm really pleased with the judges' comments. They said I was a contender for the final, so you can't really complain about that."
7) HYPE
Libby Carter, aged 15, of Waverley Drive, Norton, is one performer among the four-strong street dancing girl group, Hype.
The student of Fenton's Studio One dance school said: "I think it went really well and the judges' comments were great. They said they liked our costumes."
8) DENON FORD
Breakdancer Denon, aged 17, of Chell Green Avenue, said: "I designed my own suit and mixed all the music myself. I thought there were a lot of places where it could have potentially gone wrong so I'm really happy."
9) LINDA DEAN
Linda, a 47-year-old club singer of Congleton Road, Biddulph, sang the classic opera piece Time to Say Goodbye. She said: "It came to me in a dream after my ex-husband sadly passed away last year. I was his carer and this was a tribute to him."
10) JAKE MATTHEWS
Drummer Jake, aged 16, of Barmouth Grove, Brindley Ford, specialises in African percussion.
He said: "My stuff is quite different, so I think it was easy to get the audience interested. I just have to keep going."
