Stoke City trial for Brek Shea as Tony Pulis confirms interest in FC Dallas star
STOKE boss Tony Pulis today confirmed he was looking to sign American international Brek Shea.
But the 22-year-old utility player will first come for a week-long trial for Pulis to take a closer look.
Shea, who is left-sided and can play in various positions, could feature in a behind-closed doors friendly Stoke are trying to arrange for Tuesday.
Speaking after today's 3-1 defeat here at Swansea, Pulis said: "There's a lad coming over, Brek Shea, and we are going to have a look at him.

"He was touted as a very good player who's played for the national team and he's coming over for a week so we can take a look at him."
Reports from America claim Stoke have negotiated a £2.2m fee should they decide to take him from FC Dallas.
He would be joining compatriots Geoff Cameron and Maurice Edu (currently on loan at Bursaspor) on the Stoke payroll if the move goes through before the end of the January transfer window.
