STOKE City keeper Thomas Sorensen insists the shock FA Cup loss to Hartlepool will be firmly behind the team when Liverpool arrive at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.

The 2-0 defeat in the north-east made it only one win in 10 for the Potters ahead of fixtures against Liverpool and Chelsea.

However, Denmark international Sorensen expects Stoke to show their fighting spirit against the Premier League leaders.

Stoke return to the Britannia Stadium for the first time since Boxing Day when they lost 1-0 to Manchester United.

“Stoke were the same last year nearly every game mama didnt play we lost and its been the same this year theres no plan B but to say hes a donkey is a total joke he is a decent player and has adapted to life in the premier better than any other player from last season ! Stoke should sign Dietmar Hamann, Darius Vassell as they have been transfer listed by man city”

“andy, fair point on fuller. ST I do go to games mate, just not all of them. Mama is a donkey, just one that happens to work hard.Come on, if he played for Vale you'd be laughing at him saying he was a donkey.
whether i go to games or not shouldn't be a big deal, i watch the games on the internet (for free) which probably gives you a better overall view of the game, or read the paper reports, so i do know whats happening at the brit and therefore have a good position to comment from.”

“Fuller and workhorse should NEVER be used in the same sentance! He is sooo lazy. He plods around upfront waiting for a explosive sprint then just mumbles when it goes wrong. Dont get me wrong, I think he is quality when he's up for it but if he wasn't the only player with a bit of magic then his attitude would be his downwfall.”

“Sidibe has been an outstanding performer this season. You have called him a donkey. You dont go to games. You base opinions on comments on here. Discuss.”

“ST i'm not on here to get into a name calling game. Just mearly expressing an opinion. TP is an experienced manager, and I for one trust his judgement and if he thinks Pericard is the man for the job now and again then so be it, I seem to recall similar comments about Sidibie on this site on more than one occasion and he has turned it round, I mean, he might even get 5 goals this season. And before I hear the 'O but he does loads of work for Fuller', Fuller himself is a workhorse forward, he is hardly an Owen or a Berbatov..so we may get 10 goals from him (if he stays). So, thats 15 goals from the front two that ST is relagation”
