Stoke City: Former favourite moves to Scotland
Former Stoke favourite Steve Simonsen has joined Scottish Premier League outfit Dundee until the end of the season.
Simonsen, who is 34 next month, was a free agent after leaving Preston by mutual consent earlier this season.
Simonsen played nearly 200 times for Stoke and straddled the club's progress from Championship to Premier League during his time in the Potteries between 2004 and 2010.
He suffered Wembley heartbreak in the League One play-off final with Sheffield United last May when he took off his goalkeeping gloves for once in his life and promptly missed a crucial spot kick in a penalty shoot out defeat to Huddersfield.
