Stoke City: Wilson or Cameron in for Huth
MARC Wilson and Geoff Cameron are being kept guessing over who replaces Robert Huth against West Ham on Saturday.
Boss Tony Pulis insists it's a straight fight between the pair after losing Huth for three games through suspension.
"Either of them have a chance of playing there," said Pulis today.
"Marc has played there a lot in the past for Portsmouth and Geoff has played there for the United States and for Houston.

"It's a good chance for one of them and I'm sure they will grab it."
He said a late decision would be made on Matthew Etherington after he injured his back early on against Fulham last Saturday.
And Michael Owen remains a doubt following the thigh injury ruling him out of the Fulham defeat.

“It happens often. Player gets injured, the team struggles, so injured player gets elevated to some high piedestal, where fans think injured player is the blessed saviour. Wilson isn't.”

“You're right. He's like the emperor without clothes. But he's the least bad among our choices.”

“Am I the only Stoke supporter to not be impressed by Wilson. He's sometimes a liability, his passing needs practice and I always feel uncomfortable with him anywhere in defence, but Tone seems to like him so what do I know!!”

“Why ? Why is their a battle between a midfielder forced to play left back just returning from a 4 month layoff and a center back forced to play left and right back to fill in for Huth while he suspended ??? Not to mention a skilled, former England International we have (had) in Upson who is the only real cover for Huth, or Shawcross for that matter, but just happens to have been sent out on loan. Another fines mess Pulis has managed to get himself into as his short sightedness and miserable man management go on display again !”

“Well we have got no proper left backs, so the right footed centre half / centre midfield player Marc Wilson will obviously carry on playing out of position at left back with Cameron probably starting at centre half. Perhaps we ought to have kept Upson, but that was another example of Pulis's poor man management and who could blame Upson for wanting to leave. Walters should be rested, Jerome should start in a 4-4-2”

“Michael Owen was on the box the other day saying that he was finding life at Stoke frustrating as there is nothing wrong with his fitness but it just isn't happening for him this season. What exactly is going on there then? What a waste.”
