STOKE star Ricardo Fuller has revealed how he was racially abused six seasons ago during his early days in English football.

But he believes football can help stamp out racism in this country by uniting different ethnic groups.

The Jamaican international was speaking at the launch of the Kick It Out campaign's latest initiative to combat racism in the game.

He is an ambassador for Kick It Out's One Game, One Community project, which will aim to spread the anti-racism message among fans over the next week.

And it will be kicked off at the Britannia Stadium and other Premier and Football League grounds today where players will be wearing special Kick It Out T-shirts.
