Stoke City: Pulis's tunnel vision on Tuncay
by Martin Spinks
TONY Pulis has broken his silence on Tuncay to applaud the Stoke striker's reaction to his controversial substitution at Hull City a fortnight ago.
-

And the manager has reiterated his belief that Tuncay will eventually have his day as a Stoke player following a frustrating start to life in the Potteries.
Tuncay's disappointment at Hull was evident when, having only been on the pitch for seven minutes as a second-half substitute, he was hauled off again as part of the reshuffle prompted by Abdoulaye Faye's late red card.
"That was a massive disappointment for Tunny and I think we can all understand that," said Pulis.

“u obviously dont attend the same stoke games as i do. every single home game i have been to all last season and this season (im a ticket holder) we have sung tony pulis name so i dont no what game ur goin to. the song goes a little like this; -
tony pulis barmy army,
we hate vale,
tony pulis barmy army,
we hate vale.
rite, thats the song listen out too it and then u will start to realise that its the majority of the stoke fans like an want pulis to stay at the club. for god sake i for one am sick and tired of hearing all you stoke fans moaning about these so called negative tactics pulis deploys week in week out. he must be doing something write to get us to 9th in the league at this point of the season and thats after playin the likes of man u, chelsea and liverpool. come on you stoke fans get a grip and get behind the team instead of jumping on the tony pulis haters brigade. oh and the last thing i want to mention is how out of order all the booing was after the wolves game the other week.”

“Tunnel Vision ? how about blind vision. What is it Mr Pulis you "see" that we cannot. The lad has CLASS stamped all over him right through his DNA. He looks keen as mustard every time he steps on the park has a great first touch, is difficult to mark because he's always buzzing around and can play as the perfect linkman between midfield and attack which we currently do not have. He must at least start every home game if are to attack from the outset. We may though need 3 goals before you go into that defensive mode to 'save' the game. Villa was the last time we scored 3 in a Prem game - and we attacked them from 1st minute to the last getting the winner in stoppage time. Why did we change ? Tuncay is one of those players you give the freedom of the park to and let him wreak havoc. Then you shall see again !!”
