Stoke City: Pulis in bid to boost strikeforce
by Martin Spinks
TONY Pulis has revealed for the first time that he wants to supplement his strike force with more pace to add greater firepower to Stoke's Premier League attack.
-

Ricardo Fuller returned today for pre-season training after an extended break because of international commitments, but Pulis wants more than just the Jamaican's turn of speed at his disposal next season.
Fuller's absence meant James Beattie and Dave Kitson being paired together at Preston on Saturday, but Pulis observed: "They are very similar players and we could have done with Ric, or someone with pace alongside them, and I'm looking to change that."

“A few years after I started supporting Stoke we were midtable of the old 3rd division. Now we are midtable of the top division and building up a club for the future. Would you rate Sir Alex as a bad manager if you looked at all the signings that went wrong, and ignore the ones that go right? Whinging fans, WIND YOUR NECKS IN.”

“Matt Longton dont try to lecture me on Stoke I have been down Stoke more times than you have had hot dinners during the good times and the bad and i certainly aint going to dissappear like Cresswell should. Every time that clown touches the ball next season i shall continue to boo him.”

“Isn't it funny Neil & Ged are back commenting on here after the poor pre-season results we have had and the lack of signings. Where were you when TP was guiding us to 12th in the Prem?? The most negative 'fans' I have ever come across. Do us all a favour and disappear for another 12 months.”

“Neil, Newcastle, Coates is a excellent business man and i am sure he knows what he is doing. We are not going to attract top players to the BRIT. We dont have the money and even though i am a born and bred stokie it's not the place where top stars want to live for obvious reasons. So we have to go for the likes of Whitehead, Beattie, Delap buying lots of good little palyers, and build a strong team mentality as well as having the fans behind us at home which kept US UP last season. So all dream on about your big stars cause they are not going to happen....KEEP THE FAITH IN TP.”
