I BET some of Stoke City's critics in the media were tutting and shaking their heads when an Andy Wilkinson second-half tackle got as many cheers as any of the goals in Saturday's victory over Blackburn.

Stoke got so much criticism after the Blackburn win that I had to double check the paper to make sure they had really won the game 3-0.
