“Did you lot not see him in the Europa last season? He was good on the ball but his legs had gone after 20 minutes, he's a young lad and his fitness should be better. From that little observation it's not surprising he didn't get more chances.”

“What a waste of a talented young player. I really hope he goes on to great things with a club who will give him a consistent opportunity to show his talents. His last few years in this country must have been a nightmare after the novelty had worn off. Here's hoping his confidence hasn't been irreparably damaged - he deserves better. Florent Cuvelier beware !”

“Nash, Tonge and Upson also out of contract in the summer - I wouldn't bank on any of them being Potters next season.”

“He probably feels well out of it having been given little chance to prove himself. Good luck to him. If he joins another British team he'll probably do a 'Denver Ba'.”

“This has been common knowledge for several weeks so why has it only just been announced?
Also the guy was never given much opportunity was he?”
