Stoke City: Kids love 'kit man' Palacios
STOKE star Wilson Palacios had a surprise for children at St Augustine's Catholic Primary School in Meir.
The Honduras international dropped in yesterday to meet the pupils – and brought with him a new set of kit for the school football team.
He said: "It is very important for us to help in the community. Children are the future and it is nice to be able to bring a lot of happiness to everybody."
Palacios's visit was part of the Co-Operative Bank's Football Roadshow, which also included a coaching session. St Augustine's headteacher, Ed Byrne, said: "The children were in awe. It was a real bonus for them to be presented with a football strip."
