Stoke City: Fuller set for Wigan clash, despite nightclub arrest

STOKE boss Tony Pulis will brush aside the latest controversy surrounding star striker Ricardo Fuller by including him in his squad to face Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium tonight (7.45pm).

Pulis has had a heart-to-heart chat with Fuller to ensure his mind is straight after he was arrested and detained for an alleged nightclub assault.

“Agreed - let's build on the success of our best ever Premiership result. The pundits on MotD were saying all Stoke need to do is address their away form. So let's pick an attacking formation and have a go. Wigan are very unpredictable and do concede so let's go with a positive approach and self -belief. Up the Potters!!”
