Stoke City: Fuller to pay
Ricardo Fuller looks set to be fined two-weeks wages after being sent off for clashing with team-mate and captain Andy Griffin.
The Jamaican was given his marching orders on the 54th minute after an altercation with Griffin following West Ham's equaliser.

“The way I see it is that it's Pulis's fault, now I like this man & like people have said he has 100% heart in the club BUT you do not talk about your players like he does, "oh we'll have to rap him up in cotton wool", "hes not 100% but we'll still use him","his temperament lets him down at times but he has the club at heart", defending & building up his star man, I hate it, no player is bigger than the club & Fullers attitude will just create friction in the training room ( the one place we're all told is safe ) At the end of the day, Griffin made a mistake but as we know he wasn't 100% so perhaps this was down to his injury, ( more to the point I have seen griffin play a few times this season & at home he has performed without issues so stop complaining ) Fuller got angry with Griffin for his mistake but what about the 10's of shots Fuller misses or aims straight at the keeper every match, in my eyes they are mistakes & just as costly as Griffins.”

“I agree, Griffin is only doing ok because there are five others in a heavy defence at Stoke. He's not good enough nor is Pericard or Creswell. Fuller can play at this standard no problem but he needs to calm his temper, I have seen it before many times with him and look at all his bookings - he was lucky not to walk at Liverpool when he came off the bench.”

“Kevin, I totally agree with you. Also, Philip Johnson is bang on. Fuller has behaved like a spoilt child and thrown his toys out. The sad thing is we are not in a position to send him packing. I agree that Griffin is out of order to, he was clearly not up to it and asked Pulis for 5 more mins, in that time his judgment cost us a goal and the game. 3 point were there for the taking and we failed again. The worst thing is that having taken three points and no incidents we would be in poll position to make signings, now who would want to sign for us. A club in disrepute and falling like a stone!!!!”

“Forget the false Emirates and idiotic Theatre of Dreams; I wanted to watch Stoke at traditional Upton Park. I had to get up in the early hours to make the 8.30 coach leaving the Britannia to West Ham and paid a tidy sum overall just for the experience. I then sat for some 9 and a half hours (all told) on a coach, sat for two hours on a cold hard seat behind the goal just to receive the nastiest kick in the teeth imaginable. Yes, what ever the mitigation Fuller spouts for his disgraceful behaviour it will never suffice; as in the supporters paid to attend this match and unlike Fuller did not get paid for attending it. To fine him a week¿s wages for slapping Griffin further adds further insult, fining him £20, 000 is like fining us a penny. Yes Fuller¿s ego has swallowed him up. I remember the Leicester game when Stoke got promoted, an over exuberant Stoke fan ran on to the pitch and embraced Fuller and Fuller ignorantly tossed him aside like one would do when discarding refuse. Yes, who do they think they are? At West Ham Fuller fancied him self as the centre of attention again, exemplified by remonstrating with the West Ham fans in the Centenary Stand. What¿s more, in between the odd flash of skill, he constantly complains to the ref and ¿falls¿ in order to win free kicks or penalties. As we couldn¿t precisely see from our vantage point why Fuller had been sent off I naturally presumed he had been sent off for complaining to the ref as it was obvious there had been no contact with an opposing player. Fuller I have only got one thing to point out whilst not stating the obvious that you are not wanted at this club. Perhaps it can be best explained by metaphor. It was the incident when you lost your footing and slid on the pitch during the Man Utd game. You are obviously too big for your boots.”
