TONY Pulis has insisted Ricardo Fuller still has a bright future at Stoke City after the Jamaican kissed and made up with Andy Griffin in the wake of his slapping controversy.

Pulis said there was no question of Fuller being turfed out of the Britannia Stadium after the furore caused by his red card for slapping skipper Griffin on the face following West Ham's equaliser at Upton Park last Sunday.

He said Griffin and Fuller were brought to account in front of their team-mates during an open and honest meeting in which everyone was allowed their say.

“I think the club has handled this about right. After Liverpool & Chelsea, with a few new signings & hopefully back at full strength, we'll have a side capable of getting an away point at any ground in the Prem. More importantly, Portsmouth, Middlesboro, W. Ham, etc. have all got to come to the Brit. Keep the faith!”

“It was that open and honest it was done behind closed doors.
Us fans deserve a public apology as I fear Fuller chould just have cost us survival.”

“The message we have had for months is what a great team spirit we have in the squad. However, never mind Fuller who has been discussed, Griffin, to intentionally get his team mate sent off knowing the repercussions is unsavoury food for thought so lets now get over it. On a brighter note, Lawrence is back, Pugh at West Ham looked like a Premiership player and Gerrard is going to be under the cosh against Liverpool. In saying that two strikers are needed immediately, but knowing Pulis and Coates anything the fans want they will do the opposite”

“Ric and Griff have now made up after their bit of a tiff, now it is up to Tony and Peter to get us two decent strikers to share the work load that had been placed on Ric's shoulders that has contributed to this tiff hapening in the first place.Get Dindane and get him quick for one you owe it to the team to do so and the fans. Come on stoke we have got Liverpool next a nice easy introduction for the new year,2009 is going to be our year keep the faith all you Stoke Fans”
