Stoke City at Fulham team news: Marc Wilson in, Michael Owen out, Brek Shea on the bench?
TONY Pulis today dropped a heavy hint that Marc Wilson will return from his broken leg at Fulham on Saturday.
But it looks like American international Brek Shea will have to wait a while yet for his full English debut.

Stoke City's Marc Wilson looks to return against Fulham.
Wilson is hoping for his first appearance since breaking his leg against Sunderland last October.
"We are desperate to get Marc playing again and he needs to play," said Pulis today.

"He's strolled through rehab, but now he's on the launch pad ready to go.
"I think Brek has had nearly three or four months out with injury and so this is like a pre-season for him. He's a fit lad, but whether we start with him or not on Saturday remains to be seen."
Pulis also revealed that Michael Owen could be sidelined at Fulham after feeling his thigh in training on Tuesday.
But there is better news of Cameron Jerome after he reported fit following a slight knee problem during Monday's behind-closed-doors friendly against Scunthorpe.

“And yes i know even with max points from these games that will still leave us 5 points short of the 50 for a top ten finish which is where the comments i make about a more attacking outlook being neeeded”

“on a more serious not, as a team a more attacking outlook is a must if we are to reach/maintain a top half finish, based on recent tables 50 points plus is a minimum requirement for a top ten place. These points are achievable with visits from WBA West ham and Villa still to come and this game away to fulham Max points from these are achievable. Let us wait and see what what happens today”

“Every one who has watched Stoke "Knows" how TP will set up today, which means the opposing manager knows he can field a very attacking line up, perfect opportunity for TP to surprise every one, normal back four+Bogo, Mdifield Nzonzi, Adam, Shea and Pennant up front Jerome and Jones
?????what was the name of that medication i have been taking????”

“Hit the nail on the head there Kev mate.
Tool seems to think that because he has played other positions for Houston that that must be his best position? this from a guy that said he wanted to play him on the right wing. hmmm.
I hope this new lad Brek comes with the same attitude as the man Geoff. I expect he will - he looks in the same athletic mould. exciting times - really looking forwrd to tomorrow.”

“Sicknote Owen is a total disgrace . He can't play football but he swan around on the media every other day . Does he give the money he earns on the telly to the club ?
Marc Wilson breaks his leg and cant wait to get on the field a different bread than Sicknote .”

“Geoff Cameron is primarily a centre back although he has played in CM before. Clearly he isn't going to displace either of the dynamic duo under normal circumstances, but for me he has shown an exemplary attitude playing wherever TP has required without whinging about it. Like his compatriots, they are so proud to be playing in the EPL and I feel we are priviledged to have a player of his versatility in our squad.”

“you've got a point Johnson. I suppose normal people think about what they write and hence as it registers in their consciousness they tend to remember it. whereas Pottermentalist just writes random negative vitriol. just so long as it's negative and inviolves Pulis or Stoke or one of the players he doesnt really care about the actual factual content.
it's not fair of me really to ask him to explain himself when what he should be doing is probably having another pill from nursey and staring blankly at a tv showing cartoons”
