Stoke City: Fans' views
I THOUGHT this was one of our better away performances.
Our first shot on goal was after two minutes, and at least we got to half-time without conceding.
As Jon Walters stepped up to take the penalty I think most of us held our breath, but he took it well and at least we were able to celebrate an away goal.
The Stokies began to chant "Stoke are winning away", but unfortunately not for long as we gave away a free-kick within minutes and in went the equaliser.

I think everyone had settled for a point until the substitutions, which were strange.
Charlie Adam got as far as getting ready to come on, but then strangely climbed back into the dug-out!
He was just what we needed to liven up the game and he must be sick of sitting on the bench.
Jermaine Pennant doesn't even get that far and the team is crying out for a winger who can cross the ball.
We need these players in the starting line-up, but I seriously don't think it's going to happen.
West Brom are next at the Brit and are flying high. We need to get our act together now!

I WASN'T one of the 600 travelling Stokies, it was a telly game for me.
I thought we looked more solid than of late, we didn't concede before the break and, yes, Jon Walters scored a penalty.
We were looking quite good for the win, then midway through the second half Whelan gave the ball away leading to a free-kick on the edge of the box which led to their equaliser.
This gave the Geordies the impetus they needed to win the game in injury time.
It was a better performance from us, but the same result. Talk about a top-half finish, I am tipping 15th.
DAVE HARRISON, Eaton Park
WE played pretty well, our best away performance for the last five or six games on the road.
However, we took our eye off the ball, lost concentration for a split second and got punished. That's what can happen at this level. It's a shame we couldn't hang on to 1-0 for more than a few minutes.
It was good to see Jon Walters score that penalty, he took it well and that will help him get some confidence back. I'm not surprised he took it though, he seems a tough character.
On the negative side, I don't see why Tony Pulis starts with Peter Crouch instead of Kenwyne Jones.
I don't think we'll go down, but we could do with a win against West Brom on Saturday.

“What a ridiculous statement!!I THOUGHT this was one of our better away performances. Are you joking? Not ONE shot on goal.... It's alright Whelan apologising.....It should be Pulis apologising for continuing to play him...Charlie Adam must me thinking how c**p do you have to be to get dropped. Pulis....I would'nt say you brought us to life in the Championship, but you did a good job getting us in the Prem with your Pulisball tactics. Now you are squeezing the life out of every bit of skill and football in this club..... Mr Coates, please don't geet fooled by this less than average manager. His quotes are that of a deluded idiot. Look at the awful stats and get rid. In 30 yers of watching Stoke, even in the lower leagues..... I have never been so bored in my life”
