Stately home honours Queen
THE Queen's Diamond Jubilee will be marked at an historic working estate.
Shugborough, the ancestral home of the Earls of Lichfield near Stafford, will be displaying some royal mementoes.
Among them will be a captivating selection of photographs of the Queen taken by the late Patrick Lichfield.
The estate will be celebrating the Diamond Jubilee from May 25 to June 30. As well as the photographs and robes – which will be displayed alongside an exhibition of historic 50s attire from the Coronation years – the estate's Victorian servants' quarters will offer visitors a chance to find out more about Britain's last Diamond Jubilee.
