She achieved fame after winning Channel Four TV show Operatunity and has gone on to perform at a string of high-profile events.
One of her most recent appearances was at the opening ceremony of the 2012 Paralympic Games.
But Denise said the latest concert was extra special because she used to attend the nursery herself.
She added: "I am very much looking forward to performing at the gala charity concert as it is greatly satisfying to not only perform in my hometown, but in support of such a deserving charity.
"I have extremely vivid and fond memories of attending Peter Pan Nursery and I've recently had the opportunity to visit the current team and children in their new building.
"The work the charity does is inspirational.
"My time at the nursery had a hugely positive effect on my development."
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are priced at £7.
Tickets are available from Sophia Baker at the nursery in Hoon Avenue, Wolstanton, or by calling 01782 715219.
