ABBEY Hulton's Classic Fish Bar has been named as the best fish and chip shop in Staffordshire.
More than 500 votes were cast in the latest This is Staffordshire online food poll, with more than 30 per cent of voters backing the Abbots Road chippy.

Second place went to Burslem’s Mothertown Fish and Chips, which received 15.2 per cent of the vote, while third place went to the Milehouse Fish Bar in Newcastle.
It comes after users of the site also helped to select the region’s favourite Italian restaurant, which was named as Roberto’s Pizza House in Hanley, favourite pizza takeaway, which was named as Allo Pizza in Trent Vale, favourite Chinese restaurant, which was named as Peaches Restaurant in Newcastle-under-Lyme and favourite Indian restaurant, which was named as Alessi in Audley.
