Staffordshire snow: Forecasters warn of blizzard conditions on Friday
FORECASTERS are predicting more snow for North Staffordshire overnight and tomorrow, as the region continues to battle freezing conditions.
The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for snow on Friday morning, with as much as 15 centimetres (around six inches) expected to fall throughout the day.

Winds are also due to strengthen and blizzard conditions are likely, especially over high ground.

It comes after snow on Sunday night and Monday morning, much of which has since turned to ice with overnight temperatures dropping to well below freezing.
