This is a delightful, but short walk.

The journey:

With the motorway behind you, take the footpath on the left which follows along the left side of the hedge of the large field close to a set of small power lines on wooden poles. Continue alongside this hedge, past another field on the right and then a small copse on the left. Continue ahead until you reach a stile close to the motorway. Go over the stile then along a narrow, fenced track which then turns left to go under the motorway. At the other side cross the small bridge ahead, and once over the stream, bear right alongside it (footpath sign). The path may be overgrown for the next section. As you pass the gantry on the motorway the path veers left, through the trees to emerge in a large field. Once here bear right, alongside the hedge on the right. At the end of the field enter a small field and then exit at the corner to turn left, following the hedge on the left. Follow the edge of the field and look for a stile on the left at the end of the rough ground. Go over the stile and follow the hedge/fence on the left, turning right at its corner and with Swynnerton Grange ahead. Follow the fence round on the left, cross a stile and continue along the left edge of the field with the house on your right. At the next field, go through a gap into the next field and very slightly right to reach a stile in the fence opposite. Go over the stile to join the 'Stone Circle' route. Bear left across the long field to reach a stile just left of the buildings ahead. Go over the stile and diagonally right across the field to reach a stile opposite. Over this, then left along the good track to reach a surfaced track.

Turn left to go through the large area between the barn and the house and outbuildings to reach a track opposite. Follow this cinder track for a few yards, passing a pond on the left. Very soon after, turn right alongside the hedge, keeping to the left side of the hedge. At the end of this field, turn left along the bottom of the field to a small metal gate. Go through this and keep along the right side of the field to the end of the hedge on the right. Do not cross over to the next field but turn right, through the gap with the hedge on the left. Follow this to reach a small enclosure (Vodafone mast) and turn right along a good track for a few yards before it turns sharp left. Follow this to a surfaced lane and continue along to reach the road. Turn left to go back to the start.
