Stafford Hospital deaths scandal: your views
There was a lack of care, compassion and humanity at Stafford Hospital and the Trust which ran it, a public inquiry has concluded.
The inquiry, set up after years of abuse and neglect at Stafford Hospital led to the unnecessary deaths of hundreds of patients, has today published its conclusions.
The inquiry examined why grave problems at the Trust were not identified and acted upon sooner.
Its findings, outlined by the inquiry chair Robert Francis QC, have prompted intense discussion on social networking site Twitter - #Francis, #NHS, #MidStaffs and #PMQs are trending.
