Spending priorities all wrong
PRIORITIES: China is the second biggest economy in the world – so why is our government giving £50 million each year to the country? It sounds like China should be giving us the money. I don't know how the government can cut benefits and family credits when it can afford to give this money to China, who are doing better than we are. But the government always looks after foreign countries more than its own. Charity begins at home.

“You have to understand D Bradbury, that a great deal of "aid" is actually trade. Do you honestly believe any British government is so altruistic?
As for your assertion that charity begins at home, there should be no need for charity in a country as wealthy as ours. A little redistribution is all that's required.”
