Spate of car crimes in Cobridge and Sneyd Green
A SPATE of car crimes has been reported in the Cobridge and Sneyd Green areas of Stoke-on-Trent.
Staffordshire Police have had to issue advice to concerned motorists after thieves targeted unlocked vehicles by trying door handles before stealing valuables including sat navs.
-

There have been nine such thefts since the start of August, including offences in Crossway Road, Stanway Avenue, Maylea Crescent, Dairyfields Way, Bethell Road and Barnfield Road.
Officers have increased patrols in the area, a Staffordshire Police spokesman said, but have also urged all residents to remove valuables from their cars, keep windows and doors locked and avoid leaving keys in the ignition at any time.

“good one camband, good one... quick off the mark there haha =) but seriously, when we lived down shelton, way back in the 90's, my step dad only left the house for 5 minutes to pick me up from the babysitters 2 streets away. in that time, they had broken in and nicked the tape player and tv... horrible experience and i was only around 6 at the time x”

“Dont leave your car unlocked or your sat nav prominently in view. Not. Rocket. Science.”
