JAMIE Cope's Haikou World Open title hopes were disappointingly ended at the first hurdle yesterday.
Longton potter Cope led former world champion Graeme Dott 2-0 in their first round clash in China.
But the two-time ranking event finalist lost the next five frames in a row as he crashed out in a 5-2 defeat on Far Eastern soil.
