Simon Lowe: Potters can recover from recent blip
WE'VE all had them. Bad hair days, bad days at the office, nightmares. Whatever you want to call them.
We'll have our own expression for Jon Walters' unfortunate Saturday against Chelsea.
Some of them might even be repeatable!
It doesn't help when your forgettable day at work is televised for millions and then put on YouTube as a permanent reminder.

Stokies with long memories will recall some of the awful home defeats of the early years at the Britannia.
City have never conceded more than three at home in the Premier League before, but of course did concede four to Swindon earlier this season. Arguably a much worse result.
The previous home league game in which Stoke let in four was a 4-2 defeat by Sheffield Wednesday in the promotion season of 2007/08.
And the previous top-flight home league game in which City conceded four was the 4-0 thrashing by Luton in that disastrous season of 1984/85.
So, at least it's not that common.
If you want more up-to-date horrible stats then in the last three Premier League matches, since Walters' fantastic performance against Liverpool on Boxing Day, Stoke have scored three and conceded 10, picking up just one point.
It's a blip, with the mitigating factor that two of those games were against Manchester City and Chelsea.
What we can't allow is for the blip to become a larger problem and so tomorrow's FA Cup replay at least offers an early opportunity to set things straight, although no-one should be taking Crystal Palace for granted.
Then comes a run of league games from which there are points on offer, although Swansea away is not an easy way to pick yourself up.
One thing is for sure, TP will select Jon Walters and, ideally for me, it will be in his preferred position of playing in the hole just behind Kenwyne Jones.
At least he can't have such a bad day as he did on Saturday.
Such an influential figure on proceedings was Walters that towards the end of the game the Chelsea fans were singing his name.
It's not often that happens!
At least the Boothen End (those that were left anyway) responded in support of the poor wee lamb.
I can think of plenty of clubs where that just would never occur. We can take some solace from that.
Match Of The Day commentator Guy Mowbray had it right, saying: "Just write this one off, Jon".
I think we all should.
