ROTARY club members are sending aid to earthquake victims after a successful supermarket collection.

The Rotary Club of Nantwich took their collection buckets to the town's Sainsbury's store and took £800 in donations.

They have now used the money to purchase kits that provide emergency shelter, warmth, equipment and sleeping facilities, to send to Haiti.

Rotarian Rod Stokes, aged 59, of St Nicholas Court, Nantwich, who is retired, said: "We have all been incredibly moved by the shocking scenes we've seen since this dreadful disaster happened."
