Seven injured in Meir Heath car crash
SEVEN people have been injured following a two car crash in Stoke-on-Trent last night.
Emergency crews were called to Meir Heath at around 9.20pm after two cars crashed at the junction of Hilderstone Road and Knenhall Lane.

Both cars were substantially damaged and a 12-year-old boy suffered serious facial injuries.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The boy received emergency treatment at the scene and his condition was stabilised.

“A woman believed to be in her 30’s, a 9-year-old girl and a 20 month old child all travelling in the same car, all suffered multiple minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
“All four were transferred by ambulances to University Hospital North Staffordshire for further treatment.
“In the second car, a 10 year old girl, a woman believed to be in her 30’s and girl a believed to be in her late teens all suffered minor injuries.
“All received treatment at the scene before being transferred by ambulance to the same hospital for further treatment.
“Considering the damage to the vehicles, the occupants are fortunate not to have suffered more serious injuries.”

“I hope everyone involved is ok and they come back fitting fit. Hilderstone road needs speed cameras ( not saying the people who were injured were speending ), its a long straight road thats just beckons people to put there foot down, and the 2 crossroads on the road do not have the best of views”
