QUEENS Park Rangers are said to be ready to hold further talks with Stoke today about the transfer of Peter Crouch.
Tony Pulis admitted last night that QPR boss Harry Redknapp had asked him about the possibility of taking the striker to Loftus Road.
Now the BBC are reporting that negotiations will continue this morning about a deal - although the Potters have rejected a swap proposal which would have seen Jamie Mackie move to the Britannia Stadium.
"QPR are preparing to return with a straight cash offer for Crouch with Stoke attempting to recoup close to the £10m they paid for him in August 2011," say the BBC.

Being a true supporter, I would bad mouth any Stoke player (or manager) in a second that I think isn't doing his job in making the team I support play well and win games. I support Stoke City and the red and white stripes, 2 things that have been around for 150 years, but players good and bad come and go, I hope he goes.
I have not heard that either Crouch or Jones 'rejected' moves to any team. That couldn't be a lie too could it ?”
