FAMILIES will be able to step back in time at a heritage fair.

Wolstanton High School in Newcastle is organising the community event on Sunday.

Attractions will include a battle re-enactment, falconry, military and classic vehicle displays and Lyme Valley Archers.

There will also be guided walking tours of Wolstanton led by local historian Andrew Dobraszczyc, and the chance to browse antiques and hear music from Trentham Brass Band.

Other highlights will include ballroom dancing, a farmers' market and classic films shown by Reels On Wheels.

The fair is due to run from 11am until 5pm and will take place at the high school in Milehouse Lane.
