DARREN Baker scored twice as Ball Haye Green dumped Premier Division leaders Redgate Clayton out of the League Cup.

James Brough, Paul Callear and Adam Sawyer also hit the target for the Moorlands side in a 5-3 second-round victory.

In the Premier Division, goals from Mark Simpson and Ben Biddulph gave Alsager a 2-0 victory over Norton.

Tom Madden and Dean Williams scored either side of half-time to hand Goldenhill a surprise 2-1 defeat of Florence.

Brian Nettleton replied for Florence.

Newcastle Town won 3-0 at Audley with goals from Jordan Prothero (four minutes), Mitchell Dixie (80) and John Sheldon (87).

Rocester and fellow strugglers Barlaston shared the points in a 1-1 draw.

Andy Hadzik gave bottom club Rocester a half-time lead.

But Lee Pickerell levelled early in the second half to ensure Barlaston stayed four points ahead of their rivals.

In Division One, Joe Wooliscroft scored the only goal of the game in the first half for Longton Harriers at Northwood Town.

An own goal and Chris Mason strike gave Holt a 2-0 win against Redgate Clayton Reserves.

Division Two leaders Cheadle Town kept up their progress with a 5-1 defeat of Florence Reserves. Marc Hubbard (3), Mark Kent and Adam Cartlidge were the scorers in a victory which extended their lead at the top to five points.

Moses Adegoke scored the only goal for Abbey Hulton Reserves at home to Stone OA.

Hanley Town Reserves crashed out of the Staffs FA Challenge Cup in the third round with a 2-1 defeat by Bentley Youth.
