BUDDING politician Sam Hale will join more than 300 members of the UK Youth Parliament in making history tomorrow when they take over the House of Commons.

The move will see elected members aged 12 to 18, from across the country, debate issues of concern to young people.

Sam, aged 17, from Cheadle, is deputy member of Youth Parliament for Staffordshire Moorlands and Newcastle and will be representing constituents' views at the event.

Among issues to be debated are free university education, youth crime, job opportunities for young people and lowering the voting age to 16.
