Sainsbury's have decided to rename their spotty Tiger bread to become Giraffe bread instead, because keen-eyed 3yr old Lily Robinson wrote a letter to them saying that it looked more like the hide of a giraffe than a stripey tiger pelt. The Facebook campaign subsequently organised by her mum also helped.

Myself I think it looks more like ocelot. Or maybe a cerval.

Does anyone else know of any misnamed products or services that should be renamed more accurately?

“But leopards have groups of five spots, Woz, I think it definitely looks like ocelot.

I shall write to them forthwith and request that they rename it as Ocelot bread; I think it will sell well.”

“More like a Leopard. I think Asda value brand Meatballs should be renamed canned s**t as it both looks and tastes like it.”

“Can't think of any other misnamed products but I did read Lily's letter & the reply she got on Facebook & thought it was exceptionally good customer service from Sainsbury's.”
