PUPILS from Longton High School visited Cheadle High as part of a Cohesion Week.

The event was part of a pilot study to promote positive relationships between students in the Staffordshire Moorlands and those who attend Stoke-on-Trent schools.

Under the scheme, Cheadle High is partnered with Longton High, Sandon, Blythe Bridge, Westwood High and Haywood High.

Yesterday Cheadle held a pilot event which involved some year nine students being introduced to students from Longton High.

The school ran workshops in music, dance, art, sports and cooking to raise awareness of differing cultures across the world.

All the schools involved in the project were attending a Celebration Day at Sandon High today where they were due to meet each other and show events and projects from their schools.
