Skipper Tim Welsh broke his nose, but was happy to have it reset.
He said: "I broke it last year and tried to put it back myself, but it was not straight."
LEEK, buoyed by their 43-5 home win against Bishop's Castle that lifted them out of the drop zone, will be aiming to carry on the good work away to fellow strugglers Handsworth.

"Ashton ran at us and were 19-0 ahead in the opening 20 minutes, but in the end they had to rely on a last-minute penalty for a point.
Trentham scored tries by Phil Millington, Joe Turnock, Ben Bicknell and Findlay Burke with Roger Weston kicking the rest of the points.
LINLEY and Kidsgrove have another top-of-the-table clash in South Lancs/Cheshire Four.
